# Windows

Wenn Sie ein **Windows**-Endgerät auswählen, haben Sie folgende Optionen (siehe Abbildung 38):

* **Neu starten**: Das Endgerät wird neu gestartet
* **Zurücksetzen**: Das Endgerät wird zurückgesetzt. 
  * ACHTUNG: Hierbei gehen alle lokalen Daten verloren, das Gerät muss im Anschluss neu initialisiert werden.
* **Synchronisieren**: Das Endgerät wird außerplanmäßig mit MNSpro synchronisiert und fragt beispielsweise ab, ob es neue Software zum Installieren gibt
* **Reg. Profil ändern**: Die **Windows-Registrierungsdatenbank**, auch als **Registry** bezeichnet, ist eine zentrale Konfigurationsdatenbank für Windows. In ihr werden Informationen zum Betriebssystem selbst sowie zu installierten.
* **Bitlockerkey auslesen**: Der **BitLocker** ist eine Sicherheitsfunktion von Microsoft, die in bestimmten Windows-Versionen integriert ist. Sie verschlüsselt Laufwerke und schützt Daten vor unbefugtem Zugriff. Ein **BitLocker-Schlüssel** ist erforderlich, um auf die verschlüsselten Daten zuzugreifen. Dieser Schlüssel kann als PIN eingegeben oder als Schlüsseldatei auf einem Wechseldatenträger bereitgestellt werden. Die Verschlüsselung erfolgt mit 128- oder 256-Bit langen AES-Schlüsseln.
