# Lizenzen zuteilen
Unter Lizenzen legen Sie fest, auf welche **Lizenzen** spätere Nutzerinnen und Nutzer zugreifen können (siehe Abbildung 12). Da Microsoft-Lizenzen in der Regel kostenpflichtig sind, verfügt Ihre Schule über ein bestimmtes, individuell vereinbartes und gebuchtes Kontingent an Lizenzen.
Die Anzahl der aktuell gebuchten Lizenzen sowie die Anzahl der bereits verwendeten Lizenzen können Sie an den Punkten **Vorhanden** und **In Verwendung** erkennen. Wenn Sie dieses Kontingent überschreiten, können einzelne Nutzerinnen und Nutzer die entsprechende Lizenz nicht nutzen.
